About Us
The Walrus Pub is situated at the corner of Athenaeum Street, not far from the pituresque Plymouth Hoe. We have a new Steakhouse Restaurant Menu, which contains some amazing offers on meals and drinks. We allow children until 9pm, and we take bookings for weddings, birthday parties and much more. With live music every weekend, an various entertainment throughout the year, there is always something coming up at The Walrus. Here is what people are saying about us:
Went here last night (24th September 2011) and had some of the best grub I’ve tasted since living in Plymouth. I finished my meal in the restaurant at around 8.45pm, and was informed that a group were playing in the other side of the building, which is a traditional pub, so I thought I’d have a look. I have to say, I had an amazing night, the atmosphere was terrific, and although the place was rammed to the seems, there was never a wait at the bar. Well done guys, We’ll be regulars from here on in, and welcome to Plymouth, we need more fresh landlords like yourselves down here. A1
We found this pub while staying in a B&B on Athenaeum St. in October.
We ate supper there the 4 nights we were in the area, enjoyed the food and the staff were very friendly. After spending a busy day sightseeing it was great to have a pub within walking distance of our B&B where we could relax, enjoy our meal and a glass or two of wine or beer.
